In order to list an ad you first need to create an account. Creating an account is free and easy.By creating an account on SearchAGuide.com you can make listings, become a banner advertiser,and even shop in our official SearchAGuide store. After logging in to your account you have to decide what kind of an ad you want to list; a line ad or a picture ad.

Here is an example of a line ad:

Line ads can be run for one month, three months, six months, or twelve months at a time.The cost for line ad is $4.95 for one month, $14.85 for three months, $27.90 for six months, and $59.40 for twelve months.

Line ads appear directly below the picture advertising on each category and include a free picture with each listing.

Here is an example of a picture ad:

Picture ads come in two options, small picture ads or large picture ads. Both can be run for one, three, six, or twelve months. Four small picture ads and one large ad are available to run in each category at one time. These ads are the first and largest ads to be seen when viewing a category. The cost for a small picture ad is $19.95 for one month, $59.85 for three months, $119.70 for six months, or $239.40 for twelve months.

Large picture ads cost $29.95 for one month, $89.85 for three months, $179.70 for six months, $359.40 for twelve months.

Creating an ad is easy at SearchAGuide.com Once you have an account, click on the "Account Login" button at the top of every page. Then, enter your email address and password. You will then be taken to the Main Account Page

From here you can buy a line ad, large or small ads, become a sponsor, manage your listings, view items in your cart, view your shopping history, change your account information and log off.

Step 1: Select the type of ad: Line or picture

Line Ads

Step 2 (Line ads): The default listing location is the SearchAFish. If you would like to list in SearchAHunt, click on the "switch location" link located beside the "List your ad in" option.

Step 3 (Line ads): Select your category and sub-category from the drop down box

Step 4 (Line ads): Type in your ad text and the price of your ad. Be sure to include contact information in your ad description.

Step 5 (Line ads): Find the picture on your computer for your ad by using the browse button.

Step 6 (Line ads): Select how long you would like your ad to run for.

Picture Ads

Step 2 (Picture ads): The default listing location is the SearchAFish. If you would like to list in SearchAhunt, click on the "switch location" link located beside the "List your ad in" option.

Step 3 (Picture ads): Select your category and sub-category from the drop down box

Step 4 (Picture ads): Select either a small picture or a large picture ad.

Step 5 (Picture ads): Select how long you would like you ad to run for.

Step 6 (Picture ads): Select full payment or monthly payment. Monthly payment is available only for picture ads. This allows you to pay for your 3,6, or 12 month listing one month at a time, but at the one month price. You will receive a reminder one week before you ad expires to log-in to your account and pay for the next month's advertising. If you do not pay by 12 mind night CST on the last day of your paid advertising your ad will be released and available for someone else to advertise in its place.

Step 7 (Picture ads): Type in your ad text and the price of your ad. Be sure to include contact information in your ad description. Find the picture on your computer for your ad by using the browse button.

The next step in all ads is to click the next button. This will take you to a page to pay for your ad using PayPal. Click the pay now button. After paying for your ad it will appear in your account home page and on the site.

If the large or small picture ad you wanted was already taken you can create your listing by following the instructions above. However, after you click next you will be taken to your manage listings page. Here you will see the ad with a status of "Pending Activation". This means that you have been put on the ad waiting list. Once this ad becomes available you and everyone who is on the ad waiting list will receive an email. The first person to login to their account ant pay for the ad will have his or her ad activated.
